The Barefoot Child - Tiny feet and rainy streets

Just saw a lady in chudidar kameez and black umbrella with a bag on her shoulder walking along with a child in a light green raincoat. They were going on the other side of the lane as I watched from the balcony.

At first I saw from one end of the balcony covered with bushes in the nearby vacant plot but to believe my eyes I moved to the other end and confirmed what I noticed before they both were far away from my sight.What actually I noticed was in this continuous rain the child was perhaps picked from her school but she walked barefoot . No shoes, no chappals. That caught my eyes and several questions arose...

Has she left his/her shoes in school...

Or did she get his/her shoes torn...

Or was his/her more concerned about the shoes getting wet/torn...

Or was the mother totally unaware of it

?????

Reason not known....

Could she have carried her all the way...

Could she have taken her in an auto....

Could she have found other ways to take her along...

Questions may arise but the concern that I had was the the child going barefoot on the road in the rains and was she enjoying it??

Just wondering!!

There was a time when I was not afraid of dogs.

Those were the days when we had pets at home and I wasn't afraid of our pets but I definitely had afraid to go to other homes who had pets. That was a time as a child that I was friendly only with our own pets. For decades now we don't have any pets but the fear for others is still there when I visit my sisters and nieces home who have pets(dog).This is only my personal pov.

Now when it comes to the street dogs, we understand their situation but not every human being is animal friendly or rather they have fear of the dogs be it the children, elderly people or anyone for that matter.

Point of views , suggestions, discussions or arguments on the social media platforms would no way solve the issue...

There will definitely be some decision and resolution on the part of betterment for all.Hoping for the good of human beings and the animals be it the dogs, cows , bulls thàt move out freely.And a safer environment for all.
With all due love I would definitely like to say one thing here that I am not a dog hater. Haters will never feed the stray dogs but I have fed them.
One or rather a few instances that I would like to share her is on my recent visit to Shirdi, my first visit that was. We see dogs moving around here and there in the street of the Sai dham.And not to forget that Sai Baba in his book Sai Satcharitra has mentioned of feeding animals and dogs.He says if we are feeding and animal or any living creatures it would mean that we have offered him.
Wherever I went there was a dog by my side and my neice said Sainath is testing you, you fear for dogs and hence they are seen by your side.
I would say that was quite true.
Coming to my experiences, I visited my neices' who had a pet named Nabab, a rottweiler that he was quite huge and to my utter frightness he passed on by my side and I was shaken. Unfortunately he passed away earlier this year and he has been replaced by anothernamed Badal, a cute small one but growing fast.He just made my grand nephew run after him.And I am sure to maintain a distance again for the same reason.
Then I visited my sister's home and they have a pet a beagle called Milo. Though cute and active ,I always maintained a distance and when let loose I was into a room all to myself. My habit of playing is no longer continued because we stopped having pets when I was in college.Therefore the interaction diminished.While during college days my friends too had dogs and I was comfortable then as long as they were at a distance.
On the recent order of Supreme Court regarding stray dogs and the accidents caused by them. There need to be some decision regarding the stray animals that has created a fear amongst children, the elderly and people at large to move out of home.
The social media platforms has nothing but formulated a sense of being dogs lovers and to those who are looking forward to a safer environment are being considered as dog haters. No body can be a hater for any living beings. That's just the mindset of people that cannot be changed.
I would rather say that not everyone is animal friendly, there are some who might love them and hug them and treat them without fear.There are others who might love them and their very presence but due to a sense of frightness they cannot be close with them.
Due to these human tendencies acceptance and reluctance occurs.

Some abandon dogs, some rescue dogs, some adopt them and those who don't get a home lay stray on the streets. However, not everyone is a pet lover so they cannot adopt. When I say not pet lover means either they have various reasons behind that, one of the first reason is out of fear, secondly it requires a lot of care to keep a pet and not everyone can. Whatever might be the reason ultimately the fact is that there got to be innumerable stray dogs and animals which needs to be settled in some way..either home shelter for them, or those who fortunately adopt them and care and having said all these there need to be proper sterilization and vaccination. ⁸

But the unfortunate attack of animals towards human beings is a matter of concern and should be complied with some policies and decisions by the Center and the States. Because the incidents are not confined to any single place for ex. Delhi but other States of the country.
Let's hope for a better and safer environment for all.
And lastly I should say that I am not a dog hater.

International Left Handers Day

Well, the international left handers day came into existence when in 1976 Dean R.Campbell founded and celebrate on this day i.e. 13th August. Then onwards it is been celebrated every year as International Left-Handers Day.

The general concept that goes by the fact that human beings are right handers and only a certain percentage of them are left handers and the fact that about only 10-15% of the human population is left handed. Exact percentage may vary that lies in the facts and figures and a total research.Lets not get into that.

Just for the day being celebrated, lets wave our hands and celebrate the existence of those who are left handers. And its not just that, such people are supposed to be creative, good at sports and different in their ability to use their left hand.

Some people are totally right handed as their dominant trait using their right hand for all task

Some are totally left handed using their left hand for all purpose.

Some are mixed like they use different hand for different task.

And yet there are the Ambidexterity , those who are able to use both their hands equally well quite uncommon though. Leonardo da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein were ambidextrous as per report says

I have read somewhere that the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput used both hands to write at the same time.

In India we have many sports personality like Sachin Tendulkar who write in his left hand but was a right hand batsman Saurav Ganguly batted left hand, so also Yuvraj Singh is both a left hand batsman and a bowler. Sunil Gavaskar, a right hand batsman had once used his left hand tactic to counter a spinner in a match in the early 1980s.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Chief Minister of Odisha Sri Naveen Patnaik also left handers.

Famous personalities like Amitabh Bachchan,Ratan Tata too left handers.Though Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is seen writing in right hand but his other tasks as seen in movies are all left handers.

It is said that being left hander is hereditary. One obvious reason is that Actor Abhishek Bachchan is also a left hander who writes and eats left hand.

Though reasons not quite known but it could also be developed in the process depending on ones ability. Thats how I feel. And the fact that google says Saurav Ganguly being a right handed became a left hand batsman so that he can use his brother's sports equipments.

Now coming to my interest in this special way of using both the hands. And being able to use one's left hand even being a right handed person seem quite interesting and challenging too!

I used to see students in schools writing on their left hand , I used to wonder how could one use the left hand and then gradually got to learn their trait of being lefty.

As a fan of Amitabh Bachchan the superstar. His left hand use many have had an influence on many in the way of using the left hand but it has definitely influenced me.

As for me it was my father first who had told me that whenever he felt bored in a class he use to write in his left hand and he was very good at it. An Ambidextrous I should say. So that struck my mind though I didnt write in my left hand but whenever I attempted to write something I could do it. So I learnt to use both hand for different task at different times. And when someone asked me what happened to your right hand, I just said "nothing".

Having celebrated the day as an International Left Handers Day that contributes only a few percentage of the population. Who are actually by birth being left handers. They are actually creative and special and famous in their own field.

Saraswati Puja and an old remembrance

या कुन्देन्दुतुषारहारधवला या शुभ्रवस्त्रावृता, या वीणावरदण्डमण्डितकरा या श्वेतपद्मासना, या ब्रह्माच्युत शंकरप्रभृतिभिर्देवैः सदा वन्दिता, सा मां पातु सरस्वती भगवती निःशेषजाड्यापहा.

Saraswati Puja that falls on the Basant Panchami day is widely celebrated in various parts across India like Odisha ,Bengal not only that those who are staying abroad and in various parts of India also celebrate this day. Maa Saraswati is associated with learning, music and art.

Being an auspicious day people start their new work, get married or start anything new on this day.

Devotees wear yellow clothes, people celebrate it at home with decoration and with all rituals.

As I go back in retrospect to the childhood days. We used to celebrate at home. The night before my brother and we sisters would decorate the area where the deity would be placed. My father used to perform the puja and we would sit and help him and then listen to the slokas that he read and then offer puspanjali, prasad.

Since I studied in the convent school,so I never went to my school that day but my brother and sisters would go to school and college. I used to accompany my sister to her school wearing a new dress. That was the custom that on Saraswati puja and Ganesh puja we used to wear new dresses.We place books and reading materials,pens, pencils near the Saraswati statue or picture and worship the goddess.

Wearing a new dress,sometimes my elder sister would stitch designer dresses for us.And she was so good at it I bet she would have been one best fashion designer had she pursued such a career.

It was almost a customary to wear new clothes that day.Even while I was in my Masters in Delhi University,somehow I got a yellow coloured salwar suit piece. I managed to give it to the tailor who used to stitch dresses for our hostelites. Saraswati puja day came and my suit wasnt prepared.I rushed to the tailor to stitch and give me soon. In the process of climbing upstair a couple of times I slipped a few steps and hurt my back. That was a bad day for me. I somehow managed to wear the dress and offered my prayers at the pandal but the next day onwards had a pretty bad time for I couldnt attend my classes, went to the physiotherapist nearby medical and with some pills gradually got better. But the pain did occur from time to time.This was the second year that is MA final.And I also missed my farewell party. Nevertheless, some memories does remain.

In the first year MA previous, me and my friends attended the puja that was decorated and prepared by the seniors.

This is one of several occasions where one is taken back to those memories that stays forever especially while as a student.

Here also I take this opportunity to thank my friends who were supportive to me during those days of my injury and then to those who cared to give me the notes seniors as well as classmates.

World Postal Day

World Postal Day reminds of the days postal services were when there was no electronic media.

Those were the days when we would write letters to family, friends relatives. The expressive way of communicating or the expressive communication those days apart from the telephone that was more expensive. And to compare it to the present day texting, messaging and emailing that are instant though.

The wait in itself was a charm when the exchange of letters used to take a matter of 10- 15 days or a month. From purchasing postcards, Inland letters or stamps to put on envelopes right from the post office and then dropping the letters into the letter box. It was totally a different experience. Not only letters, even new year greeting cards and birthday cards were sent.

Although everything has become easier and convenient with the instant messaging now a days. But it was worth the wait then.

The postcards used to have an open letter but nobody bothered because life was simple then. While these days postcards are used as acknowledgements with registered posts as well.

The stamps on an envelope were enticing even more to those who collected them. Postal service have taken a new shape in the form of speed posts that delivers as early as 1 day locally and nearby to three days or five days.

With time the services have also changed for the better.

How the message passed then.

Mostly when I get a headache, I am reminded of on childhood incident.Probably I was in the KG II and how and why I remember it most likely to the fact of a conditioning. And what was it? The Headache.....It was once while getting off my school bus, I walked down with my friend whom I said that I get a headache if I dont take tea. This may not be my own version and probably I heard elders taking so and hence applied. It is quite possible childen sometimes apply that which they either heard or seen from elders. The reason why I remember it is quite relative because I actually get it.

Tea of course was my favourite right from the beginning..I used to get a small plate full of tea made by my mother. And when we visited our maternal grandparents I would wake up early and peep down from the verandah upstair where we slept with cousins.I would look down towards the corridor where my grandma would be preparing morning tea. That was something i waited for every morning.

Now coming back to the conversation with my friend whom I told that if I dont take tea in the morning.I get a headache. By the time I reached home I had forgotten it. Next day my sister called me and asked "you get a headache if you dont take tea." ? I had no answer to this rather a question that arose how did she come to know. Some how I said I told it to a friend and she in turn told it to her mother who then told it to my sister because she was her teacher. Messages had to pass then and now. Be it the high-tech age or not.

If only one looks like, be like

As I went down to see off my nephew today . He went and I was about to close the gate. I saw three little boys sitting on the other side back from a tuition nearby. I gave a quiet glance with a smile. One of them stood there to ask me in odia " tume scientist nai" meaning you are a scientist right? I said what made you say so, he said you look like one. I asked him which class he was and his school. He said he is in seventh and will be in eighth this year at a school quite near our house.

The word "scientist" struck me again be it or not my hair style made him think so as he replied to my sister who asked him " you said so looking at her hair right " and he nods a "yes".

While all these years I have had a people's image as Indira Gandhi. I always took it as a big compliment.

And today I also take it as a compliment from this little boy considering me to be a scientist. May be a look alike.

The Intelligent Crow

The story of the intelligent crow is a long time childhood story of the thirsty crow which used pebbles dropping one by one to raise the water level of the jug so that it can drink water and quench its thirst.

The story is about determination and persistence showing that if we work hard we get the result.

The pictures taken recently at home reminded me of the thirsty crow story. What I have seen so far amongst the crows is that they are considerate and sharing as well. This was evident when I saw them eating the food given.

Does anything strike your mind when you open the fridge door? Sometimes..

You see lot of things including food stuffs and cold drinks, chocolates etc vegetables, leftovers that is stored for further usage.

While there are some selves, a fruit basket to keep fruits, a vegetable compartment, a butter self, bottle self at the door, shelves for containers and so on. We always tend to keep things in order and as per usage but not always, sometimes it get a little disorder.

The freezer has the ice chamber and there are shelves both at the door and the freezer itself.

Organizers does help keeping everything in order.

We tend to keep everything supposedly to be stored for a day to a week to a month and sometimes you see the storage box for more than a month and probable of no use either or you just feel that "this is for some other day" and that day perhaps never comes.

Any left overs just get a space in the refrigerator.

The spices along with the covering also gets enough space to continue for long.

Well, all the above having said and seen but what actually strikes when I open the door of a refrigerator is a puzzle game. Trying to keep containers adjusting when it is seen that the fridge does not have enough space for the extra container. A puzzle being played then to fit it and its done. The same happens when you try to take out something that lies behind one another and a simple puzzle again solved. Now this simple puzzle played in fridge is a matter of space.

Posts, mails and couriers

Postal Services and Courier services have become a part and parcel of everyone's life.

Sometimes in the year 2013, I called up the courier service to check why the packet that has already reached not delivered yet? The courier agent replied, my boys went but they could not locate your house.He said we tried a number of times to your landline but there was no response.Well, the landline is out of order.So i said why don't you send it again, i am giving you the exact location with my contact number. He then said "madam, you come and collect it. we are not postman." What is home delivery for, then?

Ordinary Post/Parcels/Speed Posts/Registered Post .Well as for post office is concerned right from the ordinary post to the parcels everything is right at the door.

As far as couriers are concerned we believe that they are home delivered except when there is bulk items that needs to be checked.

Now each services have to be so defined as to why it is home delivered and why one has to collect then. And more importantly the e-shopping and online services should clearly state but before that, it is for the courier services to state clearly regarding delivering packets at home or asking the receiver to collect it from their office.One such courier service told me that he does not rely on his delivery boys therefore he is asked me to collect it from his office. There are number of branches and sub-branches for each services but how many delivery boys do they appoint?

And if we keep on collecting it from the services/branches, what is home delivery for ??????(Well this was one of an experience which was never repeated again)

Adding to this piece of writing .With the onset of the pandemic Covid 19 that spread across the world since the beginning of the year 2020 the lockdown restricted the movement of people and were mostly confined to homes. This resulted with the work from home, the home delivery system grew more and more.The online shopping became the in-thing that took the postal and the courier systems to heights of of ones dependance for household essentials purchase. People started purchasing online whereby the products reached via postal service or the couriers.

Postal service being one of the most trusted of all have become more active and have improved on their services with time more since pandemic.

At a certain period of time courier services took an edge over the postal for the fact of their quick service but postal service in the meanwhile with the speed posts parcels and services have also become prompt in their delivery within specific period.

More and more people have again started with using the postal services.

My experience over the cash on delivery system of the courier services has been bad twice. On both the ocassions I have paid more and the delivery boy did not return the right amount of money. During the first time I paid price for four but received only one. However, I immediately contacted Amazon in that case and the money was refunded. While in the second case the delivery boy returned amount less that he should have and before we realized he had left and didnt come after we contacted him. The amount is still due to be returned.

Since posts and parcels is a part of our lives we better take care while dealing with it. We have started depending on the e-commerce life which has made it easier to shop at the click of a button right from our homes. Hence our dependence on posts and parcels.

Say "No" to Plastics,"Yes" to handmade bags

Plastics and polythene bags are still seen to be used in many countries,despite the devastation that it has been causing to the environment. Little does one see the adverse effect of health and hygiene, being convenient to carry and easily sealed,people just carry it along without giving a thought that it is not bio-degradable and that the blockages that we see in the drains systems and the litters around the environment are the result, thereby causing insanitary & unhygienic conditions. Who cares? Well, we all should for the reason that it has been causing to humans and wildlife habitat. Plastic pollution has become a threat.

Well,the question is how can we stop using such plastics? It has become a threat to the environment, it is dangerous to animals on choking, it is dangerous to children its usage causes unhygenic conditions which affects the health and the environment.

SAY NO TO PLASTICS

Whereas some states have banned the use of such bags,others are yet to kick-start the drive. It is high time the people understand the adverse effects of such bags and opt out using for the much degradable stuffs like paper bags, cloth bags for carrying Stuffs. Steel, glass utensils and containers. Even wooden materials are an alternative.

These are cloth bags that can be used during shopping and all other purposed and are a perfect replacement to the polythene bags of any kind.

This is a handmade paper bag that can be used in gift items. Paper bags are biodegradable.

Upcycle old clothes to Bags and hand bags.

While purchasing any items be it the groceries or toileteries or anything for that matter. These bags are biodegradable bags. Hence ask for such bags while purchasing and not any kind of plastic bag.

Always carry a cloth bag in ones or twos depending on the purchase of items of anykind be it groceries, fruits.

Whenever I dont find a bag sufficient enough to carry or if the items exceeds the capacity of bag I instead ask for a cartoon packing.

I am proud that people of our Country have become aware about the environment and are ready to do away with single use plastic. Now, when we talk of single use plastic let me briefly mention what they are.
Plastic bags, Forks, spoons, straws, glasses, plates, bottles.

Alternatives to single use plastics are Glass, Steel,Wood, Bamboo,Ceramics, Pottery. Therefore, we should make it a point to replace the plastics with the above and make a healthy living within the house and around the environment.

Having said so much the fact still remains that unless and until we refuse to take the use and reuse of plastic will continue.

The Calculators and the types.

Calculators have been a part of human assistance since ancient time. As human beings we all calculate using our fingers. Fingers calculation is the most common of all. That’s something we start with as a child.

Abacus has been used as a calculator with the beads embedded in a rod that slides and used in performing mathematical calculations addition, subtraction and multiplication. Even abacus have been of different types. And it is the oldest of all calculation tools.

ABACUS is an acronym in which

Here’s above a picture of an abacus that’s in our home since years now. A handcrafted abacus with a wooden frame on all four sides with 10 lines of thin rod containing plastic beads. However, this picture shows the present form in which 2 lines are completely missing and in the third the beads are missing. Though I am trying to re assemble this to it’s original form. And will soon do that.

The manual calculators used since long and is also been used in many areas now a days also who do not use a computer or a mobile for the purpose but feel comfortable with a manual one.

This is a manual digital casio calculator used across various users. This is also one that I found at home.

An orpat mini handy pocket calculator that I used once upon a time.

This is a sharp pocket calculator which dates back to around three decades being at home and now I have it with me. Just thought of what to do with these and it looks like they have become antique pieces.

Now we don’t even require a calculator because the mobile and computer/Laptop comes with the features that can be easily used on the move.

Below is a LAPTOP CALCULATOR that’s the modern calculator used by all laptop or computer users.

Mobile Phone Calculator that comes handy with every phone and has been used by all mobile users.

A mobile these days have so many features that we hardly need to carry a manual one just a mobile phone suffices all.

Apart from the usage of these above ways human brain Is indeed the best calculator that is used all by itself without the help of any of these and no matter to some extent we all use our brain to calculate as much as we can lest we take help of these when we want to.

NUAKHAI - The Harvest Festival

Festival of Nuakhai (Nabanna) an agricultural , harvest festival which is observed mainly by people of western Odisha. It is the festival welcoming the new rice of the season,according to the Hindu calendar it is observed on panchami tithi - the fifth day of the lunar fortnight of the month of Bhadrapada or Bhaadra (August–September) falls the next day of Ganesh Chaturthi. This year Ganesh Chaturthi was yesterday 14th September and

Today 15th September 2026 is Nuakhai.

The origin of Nuakhai dates back to the 12th century - the first Chauhan Raja Ramai Deo, who was the founder of the princely state of Patna which is currently part of Balangir district in Western Orissa. In his efforts to build an independent kingdom, Raja Ramai Deo realized the significance of settled agriculture because the subsistence economy of the people in the area was primarily based on hunting and food gathering. The credit therefore goes to Raja Ramai Deo for making Nuakhai a symbol of Sambalpuri culture and heritage.

Nuakhai is celebrated across western Odisha in the districts of Bargarh, Bolangir,Boudh, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Sundargarh,Sonepur,Kalahandi, Jharsuguda.

The celebration revolves round the preparation of new rice, along with a variety of dishes prepared. Get-together of families and finally the bhetghat.Officially being a holiday in Western Odisha, people and families make it a point to visit their villages where they celebrate together.Most families try to have a get-together within the family. This also make it possible for many to interact with each other, the bhetghat that is said and seek each other's blessings.

Nuakhai is now celebrated across the globe with people from this region having located across the world have started celebrating it in whichever country they stay. Earlier it was confined only to western Odisha but gradually the people across have started observing and participating in the celebration. Nuakhai is no longer a festival confined to western Odisha only but amongst all people of Odisha irrespective of whichever region,State,Country they stay. Thanks to the people who take the initiative in observing the festival amongst the Odias whichever place they are based, maintaining the culture and tradition and celebrating it in much fervour.

While this area is famous for the Sambalpuri handloom, on this ocassion usually people try to put on a sambalpuri attire be it the saree, salwar kurta for ladies or kurta pyjama for men.Even the little children are also adorned with sambalpuri dresses.

While the year 2020 had quite a silent nuakhai, in 2021 it was mostly amongst families the reason being covid-19 but the celebration was a low key thought.However, in the year 2022, it seemed to be back to the normal and the real nuakhai celebration Those were the times of Covid and even if it seemed to exist but people hardly followed the covid rules and as such the responsible ones knew what and how exactly they need to follow.

However the nuakhai celebration is always a special one for the people of western Odisha. Offices remain closed. Almost every family gather at their villages to celebrate it together. While there are families who celebrate amongst their own families.Whichever way they celebrate it the togetherness and the relationship between becomes stronger and stronger no doubt. As the time goes by and children from every family settled at different locations while some try to make it to the festival and some others couldn't due to their work. But the even try to make it during dussehra being together and celebrating the nuakhai.

On this day of Nuakhai the harvested rice which is first offered to Maa Samaleswari at the Temple.

The family of Subash Behera makes every effort to harvest so that the new crop can be reaped just within 60 days and give the new crop to the head priest of Maa Samaleswari temple so that it could be offered to Maa Samalei on the day of Nuakhai. His family has been providing this new crop for the Goddess since the last five years.

The festival at its best in the grand way celebrated with new harvest with new rice cooked with delicious dishes of different veg curry and pitha, manda, kheer and other sweet dishes and many more dishes to be enjoyed

Today's special was Letha , ghanta tarkari apart from other curry like potato cauliflower and fries like saru, kankada . Kheer was the most special one because the new rice was added in it and offered to the goddess lakshmi at home.

To brief about letha, its a soupy veg mixed dish thats prepared on any special occasions like this and more.

August 23,2020 - The pandemic year

However, this year 2020 has been a year marked as the most tragic year following the pandemic Covid-19 . Lets make this successful even from our home and wishing each other through the various medium available to us in ths modern age that has made every possibility to get in touch with one another across the country and the world over. Wherever we are celebrate with all enthusiasm and let's all pray to Maa Samalei and seek her blessings for a peaceful and Covid -19 free World.

Here's a request to everyone celebrating . Please celebrate at home, don't move out to celebrate together with other families .This can be avoided only to keep each other safe .Stay home and help others to stay safe too doing the same . There are many ways to keep in touch through visual medium ,social medias, zoom, whatsapp video .Though the feel of being togetherness though physically not possible but these medium has made and brought about the possibility of seeing one another visually wherever one is across the globe.

Let's make this Nuakhai, possible with maintaining distance and enjoy this festival.

The year 2020 Nuakhai was the last one with my mother.

The last Nuakhai with my mother.Little did we know that it would be the last one. And 2020 being the pandemic stricken year, two of my sisters were with us due to lockdown and also celebrated with us the nuakhai.This year we didn't celebrate because on 22nd January 2021 my mother passed away due to old age problems.Until a year passes by celebrations are usually not held, and when the eldest of the family after my father being my mother it has to be followed.

The playful monkey

This reminds me of a small hand picked game that was made of a thick wire about 8 to 10 inches and in it was attached a plastic monkey that would climb up as you turn down the wired stick and the moment you hold it straight, the monkey slides down.

The picture below resembles something like that and further more the real one in its fun mood in the video.

This video below was taken a couple of days back when I suddenly say a monkey jumping and playing on top of a house and using the overhead tank pipes as a playing rod. A moment to be captured which instantly took me back to the childhood days.

The reality show was much more fun though!
